International Translation Day is observed every year on 30 September, a day dedicated to all translators and other language professionals whose work enables understanding, cooperation, and the exchange of knowledge among people of different languages ​​and cultures.

Translation is not merely the transfer of words from one language to another. It is the skill of understanding context, culture, nuances, and the speaker’s intent, and conveying them precisely and responsibly to a different audience. Thanks to translators, linguistic boundaries become less visible, and communication becomes more accessible and understandable.

This day is an opportunity to highlight the importance of their work in education, culture, the economy, international cooperation, the justice system, science, and everyday communication.
