Action Plan of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports for 2026: Visit to the “Agro-Liješnica” Association
On 25 September 2026, Hanadin Basarić, a representative of the Youth Sector of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, visited the “Agro-Liješnica” Association with the aim of monitoring the implementation of the project “Proactive Youth”.
By the date of the visit, the procurement of equipment necessary for the implementation of project activities had begun, while activities involving young people had already started in August 2026. Through the project activities carried out so far, young participants have had the opportunity to take part in educational and practical activities and workshops in the field of agriculture. These activities introduced them to the importance of agriculture, the opportunities this sector offers to young people, and the significance of their active participation in the local community.
A particularly important component of the project involved practical work, during which young people had the opportunity to learn about different methods of cultivating agricultural crops under various conditions, using approaches that do not involve the use of chemical products. In this way, participants gained practical knowledge and experience that they can apply in their own work, while also developing an interest in agriculture as a potential field for future professional and economic engagement.
The President of the Association emphasized that the project seeks to bring the importance of modern and sustainable agriculture closer to young people, develop their practical skills, and encourage them to become more actively involved in their local community. Through education and hands-on activities, young people have the opportunity to acquire new knowledge, build independence, and explore possibilities for initiating their own activities in the field of agriculture.
The continuation of project activities is planned for November 2026, when new applications from interested participants are expected. During the next phase, young people will take part in additional training sessions and practical activities aimed at acquiring new agricultural knowledge and skills, with a particular focus on their application in everyday life and on opportunities for future professional engagement and employment.
This visit forms part of the monitoring activities related to projects supported through funds allocated for youth programmes, with the aim of ensuring transparency, the responsible use of allocated resources, and insight into the results achieved by supported projects.
