On Wednesday, 24 June 2026, within the celebration of the “European Heritage Days” manifestation, the area in front of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports once again became a center for the encounter of tradition, art and togetherness through the “Promenade of Culture” programme. This time, the focus was on presenting the rich cultural, sports and social identity of the Municipality of Hadžići.
At the very beginning of the official part of the programme, the Mayor of theHadžići Municipality, Eldar Čomor and the Federal Minister of Culture and Sports, Sanja Vlaisavljević addressed the attendees, emphasizing the importance of preserving cultural heritage, art and sports as the basis of a healthy and prosperous society.
The folkloric beauties and traditions of this region were brought by the Cultural and Artistic Society “Ivan Planina” from Hadžići, which has been preserving and promoting heritage for more than 75 years. The programme was opened by the youngest members, the Preparatory Children’s Ensemble, with a set of dances called “Dear Mother”, followed by the performance of the Children’s Performing Ensemble with the dances of the Muslim community from Hadžići, while the Performing Ensemble performed the choreography of the dances of the Orthodox community from Sarajevo Polje, thus witnessing the richness of diversity and common coexistence.
In addition to the cultural heritage and the work of the “Ars Populi” Association, recognizable sports symbols of Hadžić that gather young generations were also presented. The contribution of FK “Radnik” Hadžići, a club founded way back in 1948, was highlighted.
The second part of the programme was entirely devoted to music, where the People’s Orchestra of KUD “Ivan planina” led the audience through the rich musical tradition of Bosnia and Herzegovina, followed by an emotional performance by the Women’s Vocal Group of the same society. Vocal soloist Larisa Music closed the event with her performance, successfully rounding off this evening of culture, tradition and togetherness.
