Contracts signed for religious community projects worth KM 465,000

The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports today organized the signing of contracts with representatives of religious communities whose projects were selected for financing within the framework of the Transfer Program for the Restoration of Cultural and Architectural Heritage.

The total value of the allocated funds is KM 465,000.00, and the funds are intended for the implementation of projects that contribute to the preservation, protection and improvement of religious buildings, as well as the preservation of cultural and historical heritage, which represents an important part of the identity of local communities throughout the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The signing of the contract created the conditions for the start of the implementation of approved projects that will contribute to the protection of valuable cultural and spiritual heritage, the improvement of the infrastructure of religious buildings and the preservation of tradition and historical heritage for future generations.

On this occasion, it was emphasized that the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports continuously supports projects aimed at preserving cultural, historical and architectural heritage, recognizing the importance of religious communities as important guardians of tradition, identity and cultural values ​​of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

It was also emphasized that investing in the renovation and protection of religious buildings represents an investment in preserving common heritage, strengthening social cohesion and creating conditions for a better cultural and social life of local communities. The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports will continue to support projects that contribute to the protection and promotion of cultural heritage and the preservation of values ​​that connect people and communities throughout the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
