EUROPEAN HERITAGE DAYS 2024

“Roads, Connections and Networks”

The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports joins this year citizens all around Europe to mark the traditional event “Days of European Heritage 2024”.

This year’s topic “Roads, Connections and Networks” offers an opportunity to re-travel the routes and paths of history to discover what we can learn from them nowadays.

The first event of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports within this manifestation will be held on Wednesday, 8 May 2024, beginning at 3:00 p.m., on the promenade in front of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, in which manner the Ministry will celebrate cultural heritage with the rest of Europe.

In 2023, the Ministry held various activities on the promenade in front of its building, and introduced a completely new approach in marking this Manifestation. To the joy of the Ministry, the “Wednesdays at Noon” activities were met with extremely high interest, which is why the Ministry is opening the cultural promenade this year again.

The popular male band “Grga” from Posušje will open this year’s season of activities on the promenade in front of the Ministry with a cappella singing of traditional and other popular songs.

Minister Sanja Vlaisavljević and Adviser to the Minister for Organisation and Strategic Planning in the Field of Culture, Damir Bunoza, will address the guests.
