A total of KM 240,000.00 has been allocated for the implementation of the approved projects, demonstrating the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports’ continued investment in preserving cultural and religious assets that form an integral part of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s rich and diverse heritage.

Agreements were signed with representatives of the Serbian Orthodox church congregations of Dolačka, Tešanj, Mostar, Ilijaš, Blažuj, Visoko, and Blagaj; the Orthodox Metropolis (for projects concerning the Udrim and Vozućica monasteries); and the Jewish Community of Sarajevo.

The allocated funds will be directed toward projects aimed at the protection, rehabilitation, restoration, and preservation of religious buildings and cultural assets, thereby contributing to their long-term protection, improving conditions for their use, and safeguarding their historical, cultural, and spiritual value. The Federal Minister of Culture and Sports emphasized that, through its programs, the Ministry continues to support projects contributing to the preservation of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s shared cultural heritage, recognizing its importance for preserving identity, mutual respect, and cultural diversity.

In the coming period, the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports will continue to implement support programs aimed at the protection and restoration of national monuments, religious buildings, and other assets of cultural significance, with the goal of preserving this valuable heritage for future generations.
