Marko Komšić, a representative of the Sports Division of the Ministry, visited on 3 November 2025 the Sitting Basketball Association in order to control the intended use of the granted funds. 

The beneficiary was co-financed from the Sports Transfer for the project titled „Organisation of the Preparations of the Basketball National Team of BiH and Participation in the European Championship“. The project is about securing the business continuity of the Association and inclusion of the disabled Persons in sports activities. Therefore, the main goal of the project is to promote the sports inclusion and active life of persons with disabilities.

After a check-up had been conducted on the spot, it was concluded that the preparations had been successfully completed and that all project activities had been successfully implemented, as envisaged by the Plan. According to the signed Contract, the beneficiary is obliged to submit the final financial report to the Ministry at the latest until 31 December 2025.
