Federal Minister of Culture and Sports Sanja Vlaisavljević met today with the representatives of the Taekwondo Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina – Samir Šarić, Chair of the Federation Presidency and August Orlović, member of the Federation Presidency.

On behalf of the Ministry, the meeting was attended, in addition to the Minister, by Assistant Minister for Sports, Adnan Džindo.

Šarić and Orlović informed the Minister about numerous sports events organized by the Taekwondo Federation of BiH this year, preparations for the World Cadet Championship  to be organized in Bosnia and Herzegovina in August, as well as about the preparations of BiH athletes for the European Games in Poland.

In addition, the representatives of the Taekwondo Federation of BiH presented the projects of building two national training centres in Sarajevo and Livno.

Minister Vlaisavljević stressed the preparedness of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports to encourage and to support, according to their possibilities, the BiH athletes and federations in their important activities, and she wished success to the Taekwondo Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in their future work.
