On 23 April 2026, at the Bosniak Institute – Foundation of Adil Zulfikarpašić in Sarajevo, an expert meeting entitled “Digital Transformations and Library Practice” was held, organized by the Society of Librarians of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

After the opening address and familiarizing the participants with the topics of the Meeting, presentations and discussions about contemporary trends in librarianship followed.

The focus of the Meeting was on the opportunities and challenges brought by digitization, especially in the context of the modernization of library services and their adaptation to the needs of modern users. The participants exchanged experiences and examples of good practice, emphasizing the importance of preserving library and cultural heritage in the digital age and adapting it to contemporary trends.
