On 23 April 2026, the first session of the Team for monitoring, directing and reporting on the implementation of the Strategy for Improving the Rights and Position of Persons with Disabilities in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the period 2025-2030 was held in Sarajevo.

The session brought together representatives of federal institutions appointed to the composition of this working body, and was held in the premises of “TMP” – the company for the employment of blind and partially sighted persons.

In front of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, the session was attended by Hanadin Basarić, a member of the Team.

During the session, the members of the Team were introduced, introductory information about the work was presented, as well as the evaluation of the Strategy implementation support program and the creation of action plans. Also, the Rules of Procedure of the Team were adopted, the chairman and vice-chairman were elected, and the obligations of the members were clearly defined, as well as the reporting methodology and dynamics.

As part of the discussion, proposals for improving the work were considered, as well as the next steps in the implementation of the Strategy.

The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports continues to work together to improve the rights and position of persons with disabilities in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina through its transfers, programs and other forms of institutional support.
