We are pleased to announce that the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports is organizing tomorrow, 15 November 2023, starting at 1:00 p.m., the fifth event on the promenade in front of the Ministry building, as part of the European Heritage Days 2023 programme, on which occasion we will welcome our outstanding, young paras-wimming representative Ismail Barlov, and congratulate him on his brilliant success and the golden medal won at the World Series meet in Egypt.
As a special guest of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports tomorrow, Ismail will tell us about his impressions from this competition.
The Cheerleaders from Kiseljak will perform in the musical part of the programme, with the Rudarksa Glazba from Kakanj, who delighted the audience with their music on the promenade on the occasion of marking the European Week of Sports in September.
Let us remind you that the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports launched the European Heritage Days 2023 programme on 18 October, on the promenade in front of the Ministry building. So far, the visitors had an opportunity to enjoy the performance of Vlado Podany, the Croatian Amateur Cultural and Artistic Society “Rodoč”, the Sevdah Quartet, Samir Fejzić and Emsad Bečić duo, and performance of Elmedina Aličić, a student of the High School of Music from Sarajevo, and Husein Bajraktarević, a young accordionist who represented Bosnia and Herzegovina in the junior competition and won the third place in the classical accordion category at the World Cup in Switzerland. Furthermore, the handicrafts were presented on the promenade – art of crocheting by Mrs. Edina Brka’s from Tešanj, and the technique of decorating eggs with horseshoes and other metal objects by Mateo Ivičević, graduate of the high school “Ivan Goran Kovačić” from Kiseljak and a member of the “Egg Shoemaker” section of the Napredak Cultural Society.
This year, the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports organized for the first time online voting as a part of the “Youth and Heritage” programme. You may vote online on the website of the Ministry for the works of 80 primary and secondary schools’ students from the entire Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the topic “Living Heritage”.
