On 29 April 2024, the Ministry organised a meeting between the Minister Sanja Vlaisavljević and producer Narcisa Cvitanović from the Association “Kontakt”.
After Minister Vlaisavljević’s warm welcome to the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, narcisa Cvitanović presented the activities and plans of the Association, which was entering its 12th year of operations with the production of plays, but also with strong civic activism.
This was an opportunity for Cvitanović to present the “Female Art Rising Festival” to Minister Vlaisavljević, which represented a platform for highlighting and strengthening the role of women in art. The first edition of the Festival will be organised from 17 to 21 September 2024 in Sarajevo.
Cvitanović pointed out that the Festival would bring together authors from all artistic spheres with the aim of presenting their outstanding works, professional knowledge and experience, and the importance of opposing the stereotypes.
The programme activities of the FAR Festival will include film screenings, theatre performances, concerts and exhibitions, and the key aspect will be the educational segment dedicated to young people.
The Minister wished luck to the entire team in their efforts to gather the best team and present a diverse program that, in addition to being entertaining, would also have an educational character.
