Minister Sanja Vlaisavljević and Assistant Minister for Sports, Adnan Džindo, met on 2 February 2024 with the Bosnian kickboxers Adnan Redžović and Alija Tucak, after the excellent placement that the BiH kickboxing team achieved at the World Championship held in the Portuguese city of Albufeira at the end of last year.

Namely, Redžović, who won the world champion title in Portugal in the category of veterans above 94 kg and Tucak, who won the bronze medal in the category above 91 kg in the discipline K1, informed the Minister about their plans for the upcoming period. Furthermore, they presented the problem of the Decree on Determining Criteria for Awarding Athletes, Sport Workers and Sport Associations from the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for Outstanding Sport Results Achieved at International Competitions that actually foresees awards only for Olympic and Paralympic sports.

Minister Vlaisavljević pointed out that the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports would support the joint initiative of the umbrella associations of non-Olympic sports and the BiH Olympic Committee with clearly proposed sports and competitions for which the monetary prizes will be provided.
