To mark International Literacy Day, the Promenade of Culture in front of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports once again became an open-air stage for magic, spirit, and emotion. Amidst an atmosphere steeped in art, attendees had the chance to briefly escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and immerse themselves in the magic of the written word and melodies that bridge generations.

The highlight of the evening was a fusion of acting and music featuring Bosnian-Herzegovinian actress Mona Muratović, accompanied by the refined guitar playing of Vedran Vujica, as they brought to life the timeless verses of our literary giants. Through an inspired performance, the audience rediscovered the power and emotion found in the poems of Aleksa Šantić, Tin Ujević, Mak Dizdar, and Abdulah Sidran. Proof that poetry has a bright future came from Amina Bajrić, a student at the Visoko Gymnasium, whose sincere and moving recitation added a special touch of warmth and youthful energy to the entire event.

Dejana Hršum and Vlado Podany further enriched the open-air musical magic. Their joint performance wove notes and verses into an inseparable whole, leaving the audience inspired and confirming that the Promenade of Culture remains a meeting place for the soul, art, and collective memory.
