As part of the action plan for visiting beneficiaries of approved funds, Sanja Arnautović—Head of the Department for Cultural Institutions and Associations within the Culture Sector of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports—conducted a monitoring visit on September 7, 2026. The visit focused on the implementation of the “SARTR Repertoire 2026” project by the Public Institution Sarajevo War Theatre (SARTR), a project supported by funding from the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports.

The “SARTR Repertoire 2026” project encompasses the execution of the Sarajevo War Theatre’s programming and repertoire activities throughout 2026, aiming to ensure the continuity of professional theatre production and to present high-quality theatrical content to the audience. The project contributes to the development of contemporary theatre, the promotion of local artists and authors, and the accessibility of professional theatre programs.

The programming activities scheduled for the January–September 2026 period have already been completed, while the remaining activities will be carried out in accordance with the established timeline and project plan by the end of 2026.

During the monitoring visit, promotional and publicity materials related to the repertoire and other programming activities completed to date were reviewed.

Upon the conclusion of all project activities, the Public Institution Sarajevo War Theatre (SARTR) will submit the complete financial documentation and a narrative report on project implementation to the Ministry, in accordance with contractual obligations and prescribed deadlines. The “SARTR 2026 Repertoire” project contributes to the continuity of professional theatre production, the development and promotion of contemporary theatrical work, and the strengthening of the Sarajevo War Theatre’s role as a significant cultural institution in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
