As part of the action plan for visiting budget fund beneficiaries, Semira Dommar, an expert advisor for Olympic and Paralympic sports within the Sports Sector of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, visited the Sarajevo Athletics Club for Persons with Disabilities on September 7, 2026.

The purpose of the visit was to review documentation regarding the implementation of the project “Promotion and Advancement of Athletics for Persons with Disabilities in Sarajevo Canton.” This project received support based on a decision by the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports to allocate funds from the “Transfer for Sports of Significance to the Federation”—specifically under the program “Co-financing of Sports Associations and Clubs for Persons with Disabilities”—totaling 4,000.00 KM.

The beneficiary planned to use these funds for training and participation in official international competitions for para-athletes, with the aim of achieving top-tier results in Paralympic sports and promoting Bosnia and Herzegovina on the international sports stage.
