As part of the action plan for visiting budget fund beneficiaries, Semira Dommar, Expert Advisor for Olympic and Paralympic Sports within the Sports Sector of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, visited Basketball Club “Koš” in Sarajevo on September 7, 2026.

The purpose of the visit was to review documentation regarding the implementation of the project “Development of Young Basketball Players through Cantonal, Federal, and State Leagues.” This project was supported based on a decision by the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports to award funds from the “Transfer for Sports of Importance to the Federation”—specifically under the program “Co-financing of sports associations and clubs whose activities are exclusively aimed at children and youth up to the age of 18″—in the total amount of 6,000.00 KM.

The beneficiary fully implemented the project and utilized the awarded funds for their intended purpose. The project’s implementation contributed to enhancing the mental and physical development and socialization of children and youth in Sarajevo Canton, as well as to the continuous effort toward the systematic development of young male and female basketball players.
