On 29 September 2026, a working meeting was held where current issues related to the execution of restoration and conservation works on the building “Government Building II” and further implementation of activities on the western, northern and eastern facades were discussed.

During the meeting, it was noted that on the west facade, work is being completed on the central part of the first floor and on the ground floor level. The painting of the decorative cornice above the second floor of the western facade has also been completed.

On the northern facade, in the area of ​​the opening above the installed position of the roller door, the finishing of plasterboard panels in the part of the passageway has been completed.

In a discussion with the contractor, expert supervision and representatives of the Institute, it was agreed that the currently missing balustrade should be constructed on the right block of the western facade. Other existing fences on the western facade are kept in their original form.

It was also stated that investigative work on the eastern facade will soon begin, after which further activities will be undertaken in accordance with the established condition and conservation guidelines.

It was established that the restoration-conservation and construction-craftsmanship works are taking place according to the planned dynamics and that they are carried out in accordance with the project documentation, conservation guidelines and rules of the profession.
