As part of the action plan for visiting beneficiaries of approved funding, Sanja Arnautović—Head of the Department for Cultural Institutions and Associations within the Culture Sector of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports—visited the “Urban Management” Association on 11 September 2026. The visit aimed to oversee the implementation of the “4th Urban Kids Festival” project, which was supported by funds from the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports.

The 4th Urban Kids Festival took place on 6 and 7June 2026, at the “Goran Čengić” Sports Hall in Sarajevo. Designed for children and families, the festival featured a diverse program that combined educational and creative workshops, children’s performances, sports and entertainment activities, as well as initiatives focused on inclusion and social responsibility.

The beneficiary successfully completed the project and carried out all planned project activities in full. The festival program enabled children to actively participate in various creative, educational, and sports activities, involving numerous organizations, institutions, and other participants dedicated to child- and family-oriented programming.

During the monitoring visit, a review was conducted of promotional materials, media coverage, and other documentation related to the implemented project activities and the promotion of the project. Upon completion of administrative tasks and the assembly of documentation required for reporting, the “Urban Management” Association will submit the full financial documentation and the narrative report on project implementation to the Ministry, in accordance with contractual obligations and prescribed deadlines.

The “4th Urban Kids Festival” project contributed to enriching cultural, educational, and creative content for children and families, fostering children’s creativity and active participation, and creating a space for socializing, learning, and development through various forms of cultural and social engagement.
