As part of the action plan for visiting recipients of approved funding, Vladimir Podany, an official from the Culture Sector of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, conducted a monitoring visit on September 14, 2026, regarding the implementation of the “27th Mediterranean Film Festival” project by the “Amater” Cinema and Video Club—a project supported by funds from the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports.

The “27th Mediterranean Film Festival” project represents a significant cultural and cinematic event that brings together filmmakers, film industry professionals, participants, and film enthusiasts. The festival provides a platform for showcasing contemporary film productions, exchanging experiences, fostering the development of film culture, and promoting both domestic and international cinematic works.

During the monitoring visit, it was confirmed that the festival program, jury, and participants had been determined. Project activities are being carried out in accordance with the established program plan.

The visit also included a review of promotional and publicity materials related to the project and the scheduled festival activities.

Upon completion of all project activities, the grant recipient—the “Amater” Cinema and Video Club—is required to submit a narrative and financial report on the project’s implementation to the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, in accordance with contractual obligations and prescribed deadlines. Through its program, the “27th Mediterranean Film Festival” project contributes to the development and promotion of the art of film, the recognition of filmmakers, and the creation of a space for local and international participants to meet and exchange experiences, thereby enriching the cultural landscape and contributing to the development of film culture in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
