On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, Minister Sanja Vlaisavljević sends hearty congratulations to the great BiH karate players Hamza Turulja and Nejra Sipović, who returned with golden medals from the Balkan Karate Championship, held in Tirana.
Namely, Hamza Turulja won the 1st place in the category of up to 75 kilograms, whereas Nejra Sipović won the gold medal in the category of up to 55 kilograms.
311 competitors from 11 countries took part in the competition organised from 22 to 24 September.
The Championship was held for seniors and veterans. Bosnia and Herzegovina had the largest national team, composed of 51 competitors.
