On 10 September 2026, Hanadin Basarić, a representative of the Youth Sector of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, visited the “Sensus” Psychological Support Centre with the aim of monitoring the implementation of the project “Youth Shaping the Community: From Ideas to Solutions.”
The Association commenced the implementation of the project on 1 July 2026 through the preparation and delivery of interactive workshops designed for young people. The workshops focus on developing communication skills, enhancing teamwork, identifying social challenges, and encouraging the active participation of young people in their local communities.
Through the activities carried out thus far, participants have been provided with opportunities to exchange ideas and experiences through practical and interactive work, identify challenges within their communities, and develop their own proposals for addressing them. Particular emphasis has been placed on strengthening the skills required for collaborative work, effective communication, and active civic engagement.
As part of the next phase of the project, a Hackathon is planned for mid-November 2026. During this event, young participants will work in teams to identify concrete community challenges and develop ideas and digital solutions relevant to young people and the wider local community. This activity represents the final phase of the project and an opportunity for participants to apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired through practical teamwork.
According to the implementation plan outlined in the project application, all project activities, including the presentation of results, are scheduled to be completed by the end of the project period, approximately by 31 December 2026.
Representatives of the Association expressed their appreciation to the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports for its support, noting that the project has already contributed to increased youth engagement, the development of young people’s ideas, and the strengthening of a range of important skills. They particularly emphasized the value of teamwork, through which participants have gained practical experience in collaboration, communication, and the development of ideas aimed at addressing issues within their communities.
During the visit, the Association submitted part of the invoices and supporting documentation related to the activities implemented to date. The remaining documentation, including the financial report and complete supporting records, will be submitted upon the completion of the project and the implementation of all planned activities.
This visit forms part of the Ministry’s ongoing efforts to monitor the implementation of supported projects and provides valuable insight into the results achieved so far, as well as the activities planned through to the completion of the project period.
