As part of the Action Plan for visits to beneficiaries of approved funding, on 11 September 2026, Marko Frančešević, a representative of the Ministry’s Culture Sector, visited Matica hrvatska Mostar with the aim of monitoring the intended use of funds allocated for the implementation of the project “Mostar Spring: The Other Side, Creative Bridges Between Generations, Arts and Communities”.

A representative of Matica hrvatska presented the institution’s work, activities, and achievements to date, as well as the activities related to the implementation of the approved project.

During the visit, it was established that the project is currently in the implementation phase, with the majority of project activities planned to take place during the school year. Given that the school year in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton began on 12 September 2026, the implementation of most of the planned activities is scheduled for the coming period.

The beneficiary is required to submit a comprehensive report on the implementation of the project and the expenditure of the allocated funds upon completion of the project, within the prescribed deadline.

Based on the review conducted, it was determined that the project is being implemented in accordance with the planned schedule, taking into account that the majority of project activities are intended to be carried out during the school year.
