Action Plan of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports for 2026: Visit to the Association for Education and Development “Dignitet”

On 10 September 2026, Hanadin Basarić, a representative of the Youth Sector, visited the Association for Education and Development “Dignitet” with the aim of monitoring the implementation of the project “From Voice to Initiative.”

By the date of the visit, the project had been almost fully implemented, with project activities focused on empowering young people to actively participate in social life, decision-making processes, and the creation of positive changes within their local communities.

The project included educational workshops, the recording of podcast episodes, the production of short video content for social media, online promotion of activities, as well as the preparation and development of initiatives for Jablanica and Mostar.

A particular emphasis was placed on promoting active, successful, and inspiring young people from local communities. Four podcast episodes featuring young people from Mostar and Jablanica were recorded, showcasing various forms of youth activism, sports, education, culture, journalism, and social engagement through their personal stories. The podcast episodes were published on the Association’s YouTube channel, while shorter content was distributed through social media platforms.

As part of the project, educational workshops were also held in Jablanica and Mostar, providing young people with an opportunity to learn about the Youth Law of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, discuss challenges within their local communities, and develop concrete ideas and initiatives. Through interactive work, special attention was given to enhancing communication skills, self-confidence, teamwork, and the ability of young people to transform their ideas into practical proposals.

The project activities achieved significant visibility through social media. The planned number of views for podcast and video content was exceeded several times over. One of the reels reached approximately 27,000 views, while the total number of views and overall reach of the published content amounted to approximately 100,000.

According to representatives of the Association, the implemented activities contributed to greater youth engagement, the development of their skills, and the promotion of positive examples of young people from local communities. It was particularly emphasized that the project provided young people with a platform to express their opinions, identify issues within their communities, and participate in the creation of concrete initiatives.

During the visit, the Association submitted part of the invoices and supporting documentation related to the implementation of the completed activities. The remaining documentation, including the financial report and complete supporting records, will be submitted upon the completion of the project and the implementation of all planned activities.

Through the implementation of the project “From Voice to Initiative,” the primary objective of empowering young people for active participation in society was achieved, alongside the development of their knowledge and skills and the encouragement of youth to transform their ideas into concrete initiatives of significance for their local communities.
