As part of the action plan for visiting recipients of approved funding, Sanja Arnautović—Head of the Department for Cultural Institutions and Associations within the Culture Sector of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports—visited the Association for the International Development of Music, Theatre, and Multimedia on September 11, 2026. The purpose of the visit was to oversee the implementation of the project “iMTM Fest Musical Theatre 2026,” which is supported by funds from the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports.

The “iMTM Fest Musical Theatre 2026” project focuses on developing and promoting musical-theatrical creativity by integrating music, theatre, and other forms of stage expression. Through the preparation and execution of its program content, the project brings together participants from diverse artistic backgrounds, thereby contributing to the development of contemporary performance practices and increasing audience access to musical-theatre productions.

The project is currently in the preparation phase, with activities underway involving rehearsals and repertoire practice for the upcoming program events. Other project activities will be carried out in accordance with the established timeline and project plan.

During the monitoring visit, the list of project participants was reviewed, as were the materials being prepared for media coverage and the promotion of upcoming program activities. Upon completion of all project activities, the Association for the International Development of Music, Theatre, and Multimedia will submit the complete financial documentation and a narrative report on project implementation to the Ministry, in accordance with contractual obligations and prescribed deadlines.

The “iMTM Fest Musical Theatre 2026” project contributes to the development of musical-theatrical creativity, the integration of diverse artistic disciplines, and the promotion of performers, while simultaneously enriching the cultural landscape with contemporary stage productions.
