Action Plan Visits of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports: Visit to the INPUT Youth Centre in Zenica
As part of the Action Plan for visits to beneficiaries of approved funding, on 8 September 2026, Adnan Bektić, Expert Advisor for International Cooperation within the Youth Sector of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, visited the INPUT Youth Centre in Zenica.
The purpose of the visit was to review the documentation and activities related to the implementation of the project “INPUT LAB – Youth Incubator for AI and CNC Innovations”, which was supported by the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports with funding in the amount of BAM 6,000.00.
The main objective of the project is to enhance the capacities of young people through the development of practical knowledge and skills in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI), CNC digital manufacturing, and innovative product development. The project aims to contribute to increasing youth employability, fostering entrepreneurial initiative, and encouraging young people’s active participation in contemporary social and economic developments.
During the visit, representatives of the INPUT Youth Centre presented the newly acquired CNC CO₂ machine and accompanying equipment, which were partially financed through the project funds allocated by the Ministry.
The INPUT Youth Centre has also published a public call for participants in the project “INPUT LAB – Youth Incubator for AI and CNC Innovations.” Within the framework of the project, ten or more workshops are planned to be held between September and December 2026. These workshops will enable young people to acquire practical knowledge and skills in the fields of modern technologies, digital manufacturing, and innovation.
Upon completion of the project, the INPUT Youth Centre will, in accordance with its contractual obligations, submit a comprehensive financial report on the designated use of the approved funds, together with all supporting documentation.
The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports continues to actively monitor the implementation of supported projects in the field in order to ensure the transparent and responsible use of public funds. At the same time, the Ministry remains committed to supporting programmes dedicated to young people, particularly those that contribute to the development of their knowledge and skills, professional advancement, innovation, and active participation in society.
