The programme Voices of Heritage – A Spiritual Treasury That Lasts was held at the premises of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports in Sarajevo, another interesting program in anticipation of the European Heritage Days 2026. This cultural event brought together numerous guests, representatives of religious institutions, cultural life and the media, confirming the importance of preserving and promoting spiritual and cultural heritage.
The festive atmosphere was marked by a concert by the Choir “Elči Ibrahim Paša’s Madrasa” from Travnik, a city rich in history, known as the “city of viziers and Nobel stories”. Through spiritual music and performances such as Medresa uz Plavu rijeku, Rastanak, Tebe trebam, the young performers brought a powerful artistic experience and embodied the bridge that connects people, time and identity.
At the beginning of the programme, the Federal Minister of Culture and Sports, Sanja Vlaisavljević, addressed the attendees, emphasizing the importance of such meetings that strengthen mutual understanding and cultural ties, as well as the special joy that Elči Ibrahim-paša Medresa is a guest of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports.
The Director of the Medresa, Kemal Avdagić, spoke about the work and activities of the choir, bringing the audience closer to the importance of this institution and its role in preserving tradition. On this occasion, greetings were also sent to the Mufti of Travnik, Ahmed ef. Adilović, which further emphasized the spiritual and institutional dimension of the event.
The programme ended in a warm and friendly atmosphere with the participants and guests socializing together.
