Representatives of UHAKUD at a meeting in the Ministry

A meeting was held at the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports with the delegation of the Association of Croatian Amateur Cultural and Artistic Societies (UHAKUD) in BiH, led by the president of UHAKUD, Vedran Vidović. Other members of the delegation were: Ana Češkić, head of HKUD “Mokro” Široki Brijeg, Marinko Jurić, head of HKUD “Sveti Ante” Cim Mostar, Tomi Marić, president of the Society for Digitalization of Traditional Cultural Heritage, Vlado Bošnjak, president of HKUD “Vrila” and Marko Ćavar from HKUD “Rodoč”. Anita Vlašić and Salih Agić attended the meeting on behalf of the Ministry.

The representatives of UHAKUD presented their activities, as well as the long-term activities of individual societies and the challenges that cultural and artistic societies face in their work.

The meeting also discussed the importance of preserving and promoting cultural heritage through the activities of cultural and artistic societies and the possibilities of strengthening cooperation between the Ministry and UHAKUD. The representatives of the Association emphasized the importance of the support of institutions in the implementation of projects that contribute to cultural life and strengthening the identity of the community, and the representatives of the Ministry emphasized that the Ministry remains open to initiatives that affirm cultural creativity and contribute to the development of the cultural scene in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
