A meeting has been held today between Assistant Minister Adis Salkić and employees of the Youth Division of the Ministry with the representatives of the Institute for Youth Development “KULT”, Head of the Department for Work with Youth, Katarina Vučković, and Head of the Department for Youth Policy Development, Jasmina Banjalučkić.

The topic of the meeting was the continuation of the cooperation between the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports with the “Kult” Institute regarding the training and certification of youth officials and the development of the Federal Youth Strategy.

The Ministry has been executing the certification of youth officers, as one of its primary tasks in cooperation with the “Kult” Institute for many years. It was agreed that the training procedure for officials would be started this year as well, and that the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports would be more significantly involved in the entire training process.

The attendants of the meeting were informed that the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports had sent the Decision on the Preparation of the Federal Youth Strategy to the FBiH Government for adoption. After the Decision is adopted by the Government, the Ministry shall, in cooperation with the “Kult” Institute, intensify the activities in order to timely prepare everything what is necessary for development of the Strategy.

Other initiatives for improving the cooperation between the Ministry and the Institute in the upcoming joint projects were also discussed at the meeting.
