The representatives of the Judo Club “Herceg” from Mostar, Marko Zrimšek and Mile Brkić, visited the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports today, where they were received by Minister Sanja Vlaisavljević and Assistant Minister for Sports, Adnan Džindo.
Thanking first for the reception arranged within the shortest time possible, the guests from Mostar presented to the Minister and Assistant Minister the activities of the Club, as well as the excellent results achieved in the past period, both in domestic and world judo scene. Namely, Zrimšek and Brkić proudly pointed out that members of the “Herceg” Club had won as many as nine medals in cadet and junior competitions, and had had five different winners at European cups, i.e. the highest-ranked world tournaments.
Furthermore, the guests informed the Minister about the calendar of planned competitions in 2024 and the participation of athletes in the European and World Judo Championships, which were important for the Club, as well as for the whole country. They also pointed out to the fact that today’s meeting was their very first meeting in the Ministry, for which they were extremely grateful.
The Minister welcomed the guests, stressing that the doors of this institution were always open for them, and that, in accordance with the possibilities, they can count on the support of the Ministry in realising these extremely important competitions.
