On 17 April 2026, the ceremonial opening of the Golden League in sitting volleyball for men “Golden Euroleague Men – Lukavac 2026” was held in Lukavac.

This international sports event once again emphasized the continuity of top results and the dominance of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team in sitting volleyball on the European scene and made a strong contribution to the promotion of the country on the international level.

The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports sends its sincere congratulations to the sports club for disabled sitting volleyball “Sons of Bosna” from Lukavac for winning first place in a tournament that brought together top teams and athletes, confirming the importance and quality of sitting volleyball in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The official opening of the Golden League was attended, in front of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, by Merima Djekarac, Head of the Department for Olympic and Paralympic Sports, and Semira Cheikh Dommar, Expert Advisor for Olympic and Paralympic Sports.
