Antonio was chosen as one of the 15 finalists in the pre-selection among a large number of registered young violinists. The competition takes place in three stages, each of which is played live accompanied by an orchestra.
This is the first time that Bosnia and Herzegovina will be represented at this major competition for young violinists.
Antonio attends Music School I. II. degree in Mostar, where they say that Antonio has a truly extraordinary talent. Antonio has no problem practicing for several hours a day, and his favourite composer is Vivaldi.
Last night, representatives of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports had the opportunity to listen to Antonio and his violin in the musical programme of the opening ceremony of the exhibition “Hommage to Beauty, In Memoriam Gabriel Jurkić 1974 – 2024”, where they witnessed the mastery of this 13-year-old.
Dear Antonio, we are proud of you, we wish you the best of luck in Italy and we have no doubt that you will conquer the world!
