The 2nd Sarajevo Canton Sports Festival took place on September 24, 2026, in Sarajevo, bringing together athletes, sports associations, children, youth, and sports enthusiasts, along with over 300 participants from Sarajevo Canton sports associations. The festival was designed as a major showcase of sports, aiming to introduce citizens—especially children and young people—to various sports disciplines and their associated values ​​in an engaging and direct manner.

Top athletes Zekira Pušina, Džejla Makaš, and Adna Avdagić also made a special contribution to the festival through their participation.

Alma Kurtalić attended this important sporting event on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, reaffirming the Ministry’s commitment to the continued support of sports development and activities—particularly those that bring sports closer to the youngest generation and make them accessible to the widest possible number of citizens.
