Ismail Zulfić, the paraswimming representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina, won the first place in the B final and the gold medal in the junior category at the meeting of the World Series in Lignano, Italy. As the youngest competitor in the B final, he took the first place in the 50-meter backstroke in the absolute category, while in the junior category he won a gold medal where he broke his personal and state record, and on this occasion, Minister Sanja Vlaisavljević sent him a congratulatory message:
“Absolutely delighted with the great result of our golden boy, I send my heartiest congratulations on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports and personally to our Ismail, whose extraordinary talent, enthusiasm and perseverance deserve all the gold in the world. The second BiH representative in Italy at this competition, Ismail Barlov, won fourth place in the senior A final in the 50-meter breaststroke, breaking his personal and state record and confirming the standards for the European Championship and the Paralympic Games.
