The Federal Minister of Culture and Sports, Sanja Vlaisavljević, held a working meeting with the Director of the Tennis Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Senad Hadžimešić, and the President of the Board of Directors of the “TENIS PRO 1996” Tennis Club, Haris Kafedžić, where they discussed the organization of the International Junior Tennis Tournament from the Tennis Europe calendar.

During the meeting, activities related to the organization of the international junior tennis tournament for juniors up to 16 years of age, the first category from the Tennis Europe calendar, which will be held under the name “30th Open RCT Barcelona 1899 – Sarajevo 2026”, were presented.

Special emphasis was placed on the importance of holding international sports competitions for the promotion of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the development of young athletes and the strengthening of cooperation between sports institutions and competent authorities.

Representatives of the Tennis Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina informed the minister about the preparations for the tournament and emphasized the importance of institutional support in order for this international sports event to be successfully realized.

The interlocutors expressed their satisfaction with the cooperation so far and confirmed their joint commitment to the continuation of activities aimed at the development of the tennis sport and the creation of quality conditions for young athletes in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
