On Saturday, 21 June 2025, a festive programme was held at the Meteriz playground in Vranjevo Selo, Neum, to mark the 80th anniversary of the Croatian Cultural and Artistic Society “Lindžo” Neum. This significant anniversary brought together numerous visitors and guests. The celebration began with the shooting of a millennium photo under the artistic direction of the renowned Šime Strikoman.

As part of the programme, the monograph “HKUD LINDŽO NEUM – 80 Years of Activity” was presented, which, through words and pictures, testifies to the rich tradition and contribution of the “Lindžo” society to the preservation of cultural heritage. The central event was an evening of folklore entitled “Oj kamenu rodni moj” (Oh my native stone), which brought together cultural and artistic societies from Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia, in the spirit of unity and celebration of folk customs.

On behalf of the Federal Minister of Culture and Sports, Sanja Vlaisavljević, the gathering was addressed by Anita Vlašić, Advisor to the Minister, who congratulated HKUD Lindžo on its impressive anniversary and emphasised the importance of their continuous work for the preservation and promotion of national cultural heritage.
