On 17 September 2026, Marjan Rajić, a specialist for cultural associations at the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, visited the “Saobraćajac” Cultural and Artistic Society (KUD)—a recipient of funding from the Ministry—to assess the current status and preparatory activities regarding the implementation of the approved project “Oda domovini” (Ode to the Homeland).

During the visit, the recipient informed the Ministry representative that communication had commenced with all designated project participants; the project is scheduled for implementation on November 28, 2026. It is an international project involving representatives from cultural and artistic societies from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Bulgaria.

The project organizers place special emphasis on commemorating the Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as on showcasing and preserving the country’s traditions and cultural heritage, and introducing participants from other countries to its cultural values.

As the project is currently in the preparatory phase, most activities related to its organization and promotion are yet to take place. No promotional materials or similar documentation were presented during the visit, which is consistent with the project’s current stage of implementation. Upon completion of the project, the beneficiary shall, in accordance with contractual obligations and within the established timeframe, submit a narrative and financial report to the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, together with the relevant documentation regarding project implementation and the expenditure of approved funds.

In conclusion, a site visit revealed that basic preparatory activities and communication with participants have commenced, while project implementation is scheduled for November 28, 2026. Given that the project is still in the preparatory phase, a final assessment of its implementation will be possible only after the planned activities have been carried out and all reporting documentation has been submitted.
