The Federal Minister of Culture and Sports held a meeting with Emir Pitić, Advisor to the Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Coordinator of the Government of the Federation of BiH for Brčko District, during which they discussed opportunities to strengthen cooperation between the institutions of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Brčko District.
Pitić emphasized that in recent months he has been actively visiting institutions with the aim of bringing Brčko District closer to partners across Bosnia and Herzegovina and enhancing inter-institutional cooperation. He highlighted that Brčko District possesses significant potential in the fields of culture, sports, and education, and that there is room for stronger connections with federal institutions.
During the meeting, he also reflected on the successful implementation of a project that enabled the Federal Television program to be available to citizens of Brčko District through direct connectivity, thereby improving public access to information and strengthening the District’s ties with the rest of the country.
The participants discussed future projects and initiatives that could contribute to better promotion of cultural content and stronger cooperation. It was particularly noted that a significant number of Brčko District residents are citizens with ties to the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which further confirms the need for stronger institutional links.
One of the proposals presented at the meeting concerned the inclusion of Brčko District in the “Cultural Promenade” event, through showcasing the District’s cultural, historical, and tourist values to a wider audience.

The Minister expressed readiness to continue cooperation and support initiatives that contribute to connecting institutions, promoting cultural diversity, and strengthening joint projects of interest to the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
At the conclusion of the meeting, confidence was expressed that future cooperation will result in concrete projects that will further integrate Brčko District into the cultural and social currents of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
