On 12 and 13 April 2025, a two-day international judo competition for young judokas under 15 years, “Sarajevo European Judo Hopes Tournament 2025”, and the accompanying Kodokan seminar, were held in Sarajevo, bringing together young judokas from 17 countries. More than 380 competitors showed their skills and gained new knowledge under the guidance of renowned coaches, including Olympic medali winners, Nakamura Misato and Maria Centracchio.

The opening ceremony of the Tournament was on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports attended by Anita Vlašić, Advisor to the Minister, who awarded medals in the girls’ category up to 57 kg.
