Employees of the Sector for Cultural-Historical Heritage and Scientific Research held a meeting on the project of cultural heritage protection and improvement of the development policies of the Federation of BiH


A meeting was held at the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports with Aleksandar Bundala from the Citizens’ Association “Nešto više”. The meeting was attended in front of the Ministry by Emilija Pavićević, Assistant Minister for Cultural-Historical Heritage and Scientific-Research Work, and Nusret Čolo and Salih Agić, employees of the Sector for Cultural-Historical Heritage and Scientific-Research Work.

The representative of the Citizens’ Association “Nešto više” presented the project “Protection of cultural heritage in Bosnia and Herzegovina with the support of networks of civil society organizations – PCH Program supported by the EU”, and in the continuation of the meeting, the possibilities of cooperation and connection of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports with the cantonal ministries were discussed, with the aim of improving communication, exchange of experiences and the inclusion of relevant actors in processes of importance for the development of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina with an emphasis on the protection of cultural heritage in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Bundalo also presented a proposal for activities that would include consultations with cantonal ministries, the holding of professional meetings and conferences, as well as the engagement of independent experts. The meeting also discussed the possibility of creating a unified document that would contain conclusions, proposals and recommendations resulting from the planned activities, and which could serve as a basis for further consideration of the development priorities of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Representatives of the Ministry supported all initiatives that contribute to the exchange of knowledge, inter-institutional cooperation and improvement of public policies.
