The Federal Minister of Culture and Sport, Sanja Vlaisavljević, signed contracts today with another group of beneficiaries of capital transfers to other levels of government and funds for the construction, renovation, and reconstruction of sports infrastructure, thereby paving the way for projects that will shape the future of sport in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Funds were allocated to: the City of Visoko for the preliminary design of the interior equipment for a hybrid-target shooting range; the Municipality of Ilijaš for the renovation of the “Rašid Buća” sports facility; the City of Zavidovići for the renovation of the athletics track at the city stadium; the Municipality of Travnik for the continued construction of the swimming pool at the Travnik Mixed Secondary School; the Municipality of Foča for the “Ustikolina” sports hall project; the Municipality of Breza for two projects: “Construction of a sports hall in the Mahala neighborhood” and “Construction of an auxiliary football field in the Župča neighborhood”; and the Municipality of Donji Vakuf, also for two projects: “Continuation of sports hall renovation – Phase II” and “Continuation of sports center renovation – Phase II.”

The total funds allocated for this group of projects amount to 2,400,000 KM.

Minister Sanja Vlaisavljević expressed her conviction that investing in sports infrastructure means investing in the foundations of society, and that these projects will create spaces within local communities where the energy of young people can flourish, fair play can be nurtured, and democratic values ​​can be transformed into everyday practice. Expressing their gratitude to the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, the signatories emphasized that such investments in communities bring new energy and belief in progress, as new sports halls and courts mean more opportunities, greater community spirit, and more reasons for optimism.
