Dear Mayor Karić,

I sincerely thank you for the invitation to the reception marking the 32nd Sarajevo Film Festival, to be held on August 16, 2026, at Festival Square. Unfortunately, due to an official trip abroad, I am unable to attend the reception in person; however, I wish to extend my warmest congratulations on organizing this event, which adds a special warmth and festive spirit to the Festival while bringing together distinguished guests and friends of culture.

For over three decades, the Sarajevo Film Festival has enriched the cultural life of Sarajevo and the region, connecting artists and film enthusiasts from around the world. I am confident that this year’s edition, with your support, will be a success filled with unforgettable moments, and that the reception will further highlight the importance of togetherness and cultural dialogue.

Although I cannot personally share in the atmosphere of the reception, I hope the evening is filled with joy, friendship, and pride in the cultural tradition we nurture together—serving as a reminder of the power of art and community that makes Sarajevo so special.

I wish you a successful reception and the continuation of the tradition that makes Sarajevo a renowned cultural hub.
