The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports extends its sincere congratulations to the Bosnia and Herzegovina hockey team on winning third place at the World Championship III-A Division.

The achieved result represents a significant success for BiH hockey and confirmation of the continuous progress of this sport in our country. We especially emphasize the fighting spirit and quality shown during the tournament, where the team recorded three valuable victories against the teams of Turkmenistan, Mexico and Thailand, with a series of uncertain and meaningful matches.

All team members contributed to this success, and Jakub Silajdžić with two goals and Faris Čapin, who contributed to the strong resistance in the finals of the competition, stand out in particular.

In the competition of six teams, winning third place further confirms that hockey in Bosnia and Herzegovina is on an upward trajectory, despite the challenges and limited resources.

The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports expresses its belief that this result will be a strong incentive for the further development of hockey in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and that with continued support and investments, our athletes will achieve even more notable results on the international scene in the future.
