The ceremony of signing the agreement on co-financing the International Festival – Sarajevo Film Festival was held today at the premises of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports. The Agreement was signed by the Federal Minister of Culture and Sports, Sanja Vlaisavljević, and Jovan Marijanović, Director of the Sarajevo Film Festival, on behalf of the Obala Art Center.

After the signing, the importance of continuing systematic institutional support for the SFF as a platform that contributed to the affirmation of film art, the promotion of cultural diversity and the international visibility of Bosnia and Herzegovina was discussed. Ideas for further cooperation were also exchanged, including strengthening film education, support for young authors and additional involvement of the local community in the Festival’s programme activities.

On this occasion, the Minister expressed her satisfaction with the continued successful cooperation with the Obala Art Center, emphasizing that the Ministry remained committed to the development and promotion of cultural events of regional and international significance.
