Representatives of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, Anita Vlašić and Marko Komšić, attended the press conference of the Olympic Committee of BiH, which was held in the premises of the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the occasion of the departure of BiH athletes to the Mediterranean Games “Taranto 2026”.

This sports event will be held in the Italian city of Taranto from 21 August to 3 September 2026, under the motto that celebrates the multicultural dialogue, cooperation and friendship of the Mediterranean countries. At the media conference, details were presented to the public about the BiH team’s preparations, the competition schedule, as well as expectations from the performance at this prestigious multi-sport competition.

By attending this event, the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports provided institutional support to the Bosnian delegation and the BiH Olympic Committee before the start of the Games. In this way, the Ministry continues to monitor and support activities that contribute to the development of top sports and the successful representation of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the international scene.
