After yesterday’s return to Sarajevo, and after the end of the competition season, the best skier from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elvedina Muzaferija, visited the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports today and met with the Minister Sanja Vlaisavljević. On behalf of the Ministry, the meeting was attended by Anita Vlašić, Advisor to the Minister and Semira Chaikh Dommar, expert advisor in the Sports Division.
Minister Vlaisavljević welcomed Elvedina and her PR manager Azra Islamagić Mulahmetović to the Ministry, pointing out that the last meeting was before the start of the season, and then it was an opportunity to summarize the completed successful season together.
Muzaferija pointed out that in the 2024/2025 season she managed to record another historic victory, in the Super-G discipline at the FIS Europe Cup competition, and thanked the Ministry for having supported her to travel to America, where she started the season with races in Beaver Creek.
The competition season officially ended at the beginning of April with the performance at the national championships of France and Belgium, held in France, and Muzaferija is already fully focused on preparations for the new season and the big challenge and goal that awaits her – the Winter Olympic Games Milan – Cortina 2026.
Minister Vlaisavljević wished Elvedina successful preparations and the achievement of all her goals in the new skiing season, with the message that the Ministry was with her and cheering her on, and was looking forward to her new medals and successes.
