On 17 April 2025, a meeting was held at the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports with Senad Alihodžić, representative of the Association for the Advancement of Theatre and Film Arts “Fercera”. On behalf of the Ministry, the meeting was attended by Sanja Arnautović, Head of the Department for Institutions and Associations in the Field of Culture and Bjanka Alajbegović, Senior Associate for Theatre, Film and Music.

The “Fercera” Association is dedicated to strengthening the alternative theatre scene in Sarajevo, through contemporary artistic approaches, engaged cultural projects and cooperation with artists from BiH and the wider region. Their work is focused on the affirmation and development of new forms of stage expression and the creation of space for the development of intimate, small theatrical forms that bring fresh dynamics to the artistic community.

The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports recognises the importance of the work of the “Fercera” Association in affirming the independent theatre scene and expresses openness to further cooperation, it was concluded at the end of the meeting.
