The Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Policy and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) presented the Draft Strategy for Demographic Development and Reconstruction of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (2024-2031) in Sarajevo on 25 February 2025.

The holder of the Strategy is the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina through a special Working Group for the creation of the document.

The process of developing the Strategy was initiated with the aim of mitigating the negative effects of demographic trends in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Strategy is the result of extensive research, consultations with all relevant actors and technical support from the United Nations Population Fund, and represents the first document of this kind in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

On behalf of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, the presentation was attended by the employee of the Youth Sector, Senad Hašić.
