Representative of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports Marko Komšić attended the event “Games without Borders for Youth from Bosnia and Herzegovina” in Sarajevo on June 23, 2026. This three-day event, which brings together high school students from different parts of our country with the aim of strengthening mutual understanding, cooperation and team spirit, is organized by the Schüler Helfen Leben (SHL) Sarajevo Foundation, and through sports, educational and recreational activities, young people are given the opportunity to develop communication skills, critical thinking, mutual respect and active participation in social life.

During the visit, the importance of projects that connect young people from different local communities and contribute to building friendships, trust and tolerance was emphasized. The special importance of the event is reflected in the formation of mixed teams through which participants develop a sense of community, overcome prejudices and gain new experiences.

The Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports will continue to support activities that promote sports recreation, a healthy lifestyle and the active inclusion of young people in social processes, recognizing their importance for the development of society and strengthening the interconnectedness of young people throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.
