An official working meeting was held at the premises of the Federal Ministry of Culture and Sports, where the key topic was support for the work of the “Boys in Blue” Association from Sarajevo and the further development of athletics and recreational sports in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The meeting was attended by Emilija Pavičević and Marko Komšić on behalf of the Ministry, while Darko Lončar on behalf of the Association.

During the meeting, the implementation of the extremely successful 7th Sarajevo Marathon, which gathered a record number of domestic and international runners and confirmed Sarajevo’s status as a regional sports center, was analyzed in detail.

The representative of the Association also presented other sports events, including the “Stazama Bosna Srebrena” race, the humanitarian action “Trčimo za Dah” and other similar projects implemented by this association. Special attention was paid to systemic solutions for supporting the club’s top athletes, who regularly achieve notable results and win national championship titles.
